Celebrating Mother Day

As a kid, mother’s day is the day when you can show your love and affection for your mom using her money. I wait for it all year long. We party at the night where both I and my brother have the chance to tell mom what she means to us and after that we gift her the presents that we bring. There is always a competition between me and my brother about bringing the best gift; however no one has ever emerged as a winner in this competition. This year was also one of those years where I had to really think hard on what gift to choose. I had to choose a gift that would clearly portray the image of trust, purity, love and affection which binds our relationship.
Good gifts are hard to find and it was the same case here. I looked for quite a few things before I finally decided upon boxes of sweets as the perfect gift. It had my favorite lollies and bonbons. It seemed a perfect gift to be because I felt that, as a meal is incomplete without sweets, my life would be incomplete without my mom. Secondly sweets have universal admiration like all the mothers have and so it was a perfect analogy. When I gifted it to my mother and told the thought process behind it she broke into tears, guess all mothers are like that only. A gift well chosen .

I had a wonderful night celebrating with my family and now I am waiting for children’s day to receive my special gift
